Krugman maybe because he'll pretty happily go to a small, quiet corner of the internet and do wonkish stuff for those of us who care (though, his newsletter is pretty fucking prolific, he sends out emails daily). Colbert though? If he decides that he wants attention, I don't think the almighty algo is going to be able to stop him. If he wanted to, he could have a top 5 podcast within a month of leaving TV.

Just does not compute that they’re the weird ones, and that it’s not normal for a functional adult to have an unconditional, all-encompassing and almost religious devotion for their preferred political candidate, and to make that a cornerstone of their entire personality.
