you know that's not how you appraise trades, bubba....my point is that Hagel was considered quite valuable when they traded him, so Hawks deserve credit for turning a run of the mill Xhekaj type roster invite into multiple quality assets

I don't think MSL would have came out to defend Dach the way he did, if it wasn't to play him Game 3....so maybe Dach plays next game. Or else it's kinda pointless for Marty to spend time defending him multiple times like he did.
Unless it was more to show his players that he will always have their backs, and protect them in the media ? Maybe.....but players already know that he's got their backs.
