I know, I'm saying that's the trade that mattered. I didn't like the Fuhr trade - we lost my fave Damphousse in that one. But then we turned Fuhr into Andreychuk and what a deal that was.

Everyone is sleeping on this team, even Gavin because he's consuming all the bullshit media.
Bundy + Biff + insane injuries + total discord and distractions = bottom 5 finish.
All of that shit is gone this year. If we have good health, plus McKenna, plus whatever key UFA/trade/graduation improvements, I expect this team to be better than the one that took Florida to 7 games in round two.

Seriously, fuck Tre. When he should've been trying to get any value out of Jarnkrok, dumped Maccelli for the best he could get, potentially a nice OEL deal (if the return was great), sold Benoit and Myers and Stetcher to the highest or any bidder. All in an effort to make us worse and ensure that bottom five finish...he was trying to sell off our best youngest player for futures, and made a stupid deal but couldn't formalize it in time.

I like that Chayka has been on the job for a few weeks, he’s made changes to the front office, changing the organizational structure, he fired the coach and is running the Leafs first real coach search since they hired Roger Nielsen or something, is flying around the continent visiting prospects. He is being so throrugh with everything.
Tre was hired at the same time, he seemed totally overwhelmed with everything going on didn’t have time to look at Keefe, even though everyone knew he’d be fired, didn’t have time to try and trade Marner, even though everyone knew he had to.
The competency in the process is refreshing
