Got rid of our coach (yay)
Got the first overall pick in the draft (yay)
Got the top available FA dman via trade (yay)
Got a goalie (yes overpay) that improves our G situation overall (yay)

Had a meh day in FA in a FA season that was considered less than exciting
Complacency

Fuck, you just caused me to envision a situation where Hildeby's numbers with TB are better than Bob's this year, and it hurt because it is altogether possible.

I think the fact they gave bob that contract is an admission that our G situation was shit, which it was.

About 80% of those names are better than anyone they signed today obviously. No they're mostly not good, but they're better than guys who are 12th and 13th forwards and can't hold a job as a regular on a decent NHL team.

He is 24, 6'7 just put up a .914 over 20 games for us last year with a terrible team around him.

Was over .920 in the SHL over 28 games when he was 20/21. Good marlies numbers other than last season

I don't know if I've ever seen a worse free agency day for a team. I've seen worse deals signed obviously, but never a team in on so many bad deals

Whatever small bit of faith I had in Chayka from the Raddysh real and his media appearances sounding good is gone. Today was fucking shambolic.
