Playing For Keeps 2014

i start work at 8pm est (5pst), and its only a 15 minute drive to work and I dont care if I miss the last couple rounds. so maybe like 6 est?
 
We can certainly see if everyone is okay with starting it at 8:00pm EST, if that helps you at all. Any chance you could arrange to go in an hour late or so?
 
Nope. the first hour of my shift is the most important. Looks like I'll be stuck with a shit team this year and wont contend i guess. too bad, cause I've been on a roll in this league

I understand it sucks but why would you be stuck with a bad team if you pre-rank your players? Spend an hour on it and you'll get only guys you want... again be sure to move injured players and players you do not want all the way to the bottom.
 
it always turns to shit. I've never come out with a good team on autodraft. Oh well, I get the top pick next year!
 
Even when you pre-rank? I've done it a bunch of times and literally never been unhappy with my team. I almost think it's better cause you don't get knocked off of your strategy by panicking when there's a run on a certain position.
 
Why do you refuse to acknowledge the pre-ranking? Have you pre-ranked your players? That's something you CAN do.
 
I acknowledge the prerank, but I like drafting my own team. A) alot more fun being able to strategically draft players to try and get maximum value. B) it doesnt work that well cause it doesnt account for how other people are drafting. Drafting isnt just picking a team, its about outdrafting your opponents. I dont know, I just much prefer being part of the draft
 
Well yeah, but if you pre-rank you won't end up with a bunch of players you don't want. So while not idea and not as fun... it's not the dire situation you've describes where you'll end up as the last place team and get the first pick next season.
 
I think we've proven over the years in both hockey and baseball that we will never get 100% approval on the draft times. I just realized my hockey game tonight only gets over at the same time the draft starts so I will be missing the first 30 mins of the game but being said I will have some guys ranked and hope for the best
 
dammit. Been so busy with work I forgot to prerank. Worked 34 hours in the last 3 days :(
 
You forgot? I told you like 7 times. You should have done it last Sunday when you had the day off. Your team looks decent... a couple times you took guys when I had them queued up.
 
While we're at it, Cheech can you please fix your fricken Fantrax roster. I've asked you like 5 times. The season starts at the end of the week.
