I mean, we tried, but this is the equivalent of breaking up with someone and then everyone you ever met tagging you in all of her pictures with her new boyfriend on instagram. At some point you just want his boat to sink so people will leave you the fuck alone about her new boyfriend having a boat.

Agreed. But in our case, "people" are actually the entire fucking hockey media that is given direct access to the humans in the league, and are paid to talk and write about the league.

The Leafs did not make the playoffs, yet have been discussed as, or more often than almost any team that is in the playoffs. We don't want this. We want to post gifs of Gavin McKenna and enjoy the rest of our day.

Oh, I'm aware, I will just continue pushing back on this nonsense than we're the obsessed one. No no, they're obsessed with us. We can debate and examine why that is. But it is.
 
I'd like to know what Tampa's plan is if Raddysh leaves, you know they have a trade in their back pocket.

part of the reason why i'm wary about raddysh is that TB had a crapload of injuries on D - all of Hedman/McDonagh/Cernak missed half the season - and raddysh wasn't the only no name that stepped up in their absense - all of Moser, Lilleberg, D'Astous, and Crozier all played very well too.

if the injury reports on Hedman/mcdonagh/Cernak are clean for next year, then i'm not sure they are too chuffed about getting a full on replacement for Raddysh.
