How would it even function? There is so much institutional knowledge they rely on, just waiting for their phone to ring in LA that just isn't replicable elsewhere.

This is like when the "tech industry" threw a tantrum and moved to Austin, only to find out that the shit was harder than it sounded so they maintain a "head office" in Texas for the tax benefits but still do the vast majority of their work in California.
 
It’s impossible. There have been reports here about how devastating it would be for the LA economy, which I’m sure the Ellisons are acutely aware of, and know it’s a scary threat to leverage in trying to get what they want. They would never let them leave, even if they’re serious about it.

Yeah same, I couldn't resist watching this one.

I'm so proud of Nathan for going mainstream, the guy has way too much talent to he hidden as much as he once was. Granted, his projects have matured incrementally too.
