Of course no excuse … but this is the year they enter the rebuild transition phase - team is now the hunted vs the hunter & shoulder the burden of expectations that accompany being the hunted.
The core is now expected to transition from sheer contributors to managing locker room culture & leading / finding solutions through the inevitable abyss every team hits during a marathon 6 month regular season
Are we currently in the "inevitable abyss"?
