So, are the Jays still a bad team that should miss the playoffs, but have lucked into winning a lot of games, or are they a good team that should make the playoffs based on their payroll and have had some good luck along the way?
Or, are they a good team that had terrible luck last year?
So, I have been watching Smoke, and I enjoy it; I look forward to watching more. It is better than it should be, not as good as it could be.
I get Homeland vibes from it, but I think they are aiming for Hannibal.
I think the book on Varland is: he was a big-time prospect that they developed as a starter, but his stuff doesn't play there. It plays up big time as a reliever. I guess kinda like Hoffman.
Acquired:
Shane Bieber
Louis Varland
Ty France
Seranthony Dominguez
Brandon Valenzuala
Dealt:
Will Wagner
Alan Roden
Kendry Rojas
Khal Stephen
Juaron Watts-Brown
(stole this from another site)
Roden is a JAG and Loper has overtaken him. I am surprised they got rid of Wagner, but I guess with Gimenez and Varso coming back soon, something had to give.
