He's not leaving for Washington, it's silly to even consider. Reach the top of the mountain in Toronto and leave? Man has a chance to win another chip (it's damn possible to return the entire championship winning group, and add another piece to it...and the Warriors are dead next year) and he's going to bolt to deal with that shit show? The Wall albatross, the Beal trade, Ian ****ing Mahinmi making 16 million next year. Why leave a veteran contender for a tear down & rebuild in a non premium market? Washington is what, the 5th most attractive destination in the American north east?

This is simply unreal. It's 3am and I'm still wondering if one of the big 3 actually won a championship! It happened. It actually happened.

Was at Yonge/Dundas an hour or two ago. Crazy scene down there.

Can’t believe this has happened in our city.

Pretty surreal and hasn’t sunk in yet.

Sadly already hearing about the whole injury thing from everyone, which puts a bit of a damper on it.

But still loving it. Kawhi, man, what a champ.

Tony Bennett guarding Nick Nurse — in 1989. Both men coached their teams to championships 30 years later, barely two months apart. The universe can be freaking incredible sometimes.
