I think we have already established that this statistic is inherently flawed.

and yet here we are in the NBA finals.

and all 10 of those players belong to teams with the best records in the league over that span.

It's not flawed in the sense that it can show you which players are performing well. It's the ranking between specific brackets which is flawed. For example, the top-30 guys on that list are likely the top 30 players in the league or close to it, but I have no confidence in that telling me which one of those guys is better than the other within that cohort.

Most Team Wins, Last 6 years:

1.GSW 373 (Curry 6, Dray 6, KD 3)
2.SAS 340 (Kawhi 5, * - Duncan (3) would be #11 on this list at about 5.20)
3.HOU 324 (Harden 6, Paul 2)
4.TOR 321 (Lowry 6, Kawhi 1)
5.LAC 307 (Paul 4)
6.OKC 303 (Westbrook 6, KD 3)

So every top team here had these top-10 guys playing for it.

No Lebron here, but of course CLE was 5th overall in the 4 years he actually played there, and they had 2 years without a top-10 rpm player which brought them down to 9th overall.

Young Jokic's nuggets are the only exception here, and he's by far the youngest, has only played 4yrs with them, and has already turned them into an elite team here at age 24.

Normally I'd say yes, but this team has shown resilience throughout the playoffs. I think they will win tonight, but I am confident that if they didn't they'd find a way to bring the series back 2-2.

Thing is if klay goes he isn’t 100%. And if he doesn’t go to rest for game 4 you gotta take advantage and win. That is what a champion does.

Sure, it'll be a huge missed opportunity if they don't win tonight. Just like game #2 was a big missed opportunity.

Still, I don't think that makes it a "must win". As long as the series is no worse than 2-2 going back to Toronto, they're in great shape.

He stay. **** the Clippers and **** Steve Ballmer

Vegas seems to think that Klay is sitting out tonight, apparently the line for the game has just tanked and the Raptors are now 3.5 point favourites.

Klay Thompson just walked into the arena through the VIP entrance in street clothes. (Game is in about an hour) Did not look happy. Asked if they were going to let him play, and he threw his arms in the air. #NBAFinals
