OT: American Politics

The USA is the greatest economy in the world and will continue as such. Why? Because Americans live a disposable lifestyle. Why fix when you can buy new?

Yet your president doesn't understand why Americans can afford such a disposable lifestyle.

Put tariffs on Mexico and China. Let's see how long that lasts.

Like I said, part of me wants Trump to win in 2020. The globe will begin to isolate itself from american instability, stop trusting american institutions, no longer rely on the american military.

Canada for example said it follow the Europeans on the Boeing Max 8 recertification. Not the FIA, Europe. Ethiopia sent the flight recorder boxes to Europe, not america, europe.

As much as I dislike the EU, and I really dislike the EU, they are perfectly positioned to take back the role of global leader from America while america is too busy trying to get women to carry incest babies to term.

Yeah, the discrepancy between support of non-college educated and college educated is equally glaring for sure.

Gender too, but we already knew that.

Two things jumped out at me:

1) Independents are marginally negative on Dotard, 5 to 7 point gap. They are still in play.

2) Support for Mueller to testify at Congress is really high. These gives the Ds potential maneuvering room, and is a potential risk for Dorito. They might press the hand on this.

The Right's Grifter Problem is Undermining Their Fundraising Totals

this from a very conservative publication.

and it's not a bothsides issue.

Perhaps you’re thinking, “Oh, every PAC does this.” Nope. In that RightWingNews study, Club for Growth Action PAC had 88 percent actually went into independent expenditures and direct contributions. Republican Main Street Partnership had 78 percent, and American Crossroads was at 72 percent. That allegedly corrupt “establishment” is way more efficient at using donors’ money than all of these self-proclaimed grassroots conservative groups. Over on the liberal or Democratic side, ActBlue charges a 3.95 percent processing fee when passing along donations to campaigns.

96% vs 78% at best.

Wow. When 78% is the by far the best that the Conservative world can do in turning donor money into actual campaign contributions....that's a lot of grift.

Again, Buttigieg is one smart cat. Handled the “why should a woman vote for you” question brilliantly.

Not likely to win, but this guy is a star.

Which means they're either covering for Trump looking like a schlub in the UK, covering for the new Trump law suit for tax evasion in Panama, or just covering for Trump in general. Hillary hate is red meat for the mouth breathers.

File it under: "I'm not saying, I'm just saying"

George Nader, the United Arab Emirates lobbyist who set up a much-scrutinized meeting between a Trump administration emissary and an associate of Vladimir Putin’s in early 2017—and who reportedly appeared at the White House “frequently” early in Trump’s tenure to discuss Middle East policy—has been arrested and indicted on previously sealed charges of possessing child pornography, the Justice Department says.

Trump has a bit of a history of pedos in his circle.

he's way, way smarter than trudeau. he's also a vet, not a drama teacher. and self made, not a trust fund kid. and he's not even good looking.

that being said, he's too conservative, imo.
