Gardiner was caught sleeping on the first goal, he's the LD there. Zaitsev came over to help him out but it wasn't his man.

Por que no los dos? Jake was in the neutral zone looking to keep gap on the centre that had just taken the pass. MPS had just come off the bench and Zaitsev was tracking him but stopped skating.

Jake was probably too aggressive in the neutral zone, but there were two sens coming off the bench and he had two blue jerseys covering him. One of those jerseys was 22 though.

Then on the 2nd goal it was a regular dump in, Gardiner had the puck behind the net and turned it over before the deflection from Andersen's stick hit Zaitsev's face.

Yep, Jake's turnover into the corner, but it's largely harmless until (please watch the replay) Zaitsev shoulder checks and decides to cover Jake's check (Duchene), that Jake was in position to cover instead of his check (Dzingel) by the right post. He takes a patently ridiculous position in front of the net because of this and eats a puck on a deflection. Boom, 2-1.

Eh on the first goal he was a bit too high then got frozen - he delayed making his turn to reverse. Still, should have been a two on one with a bad player on his off wing. Zaitsev made it a partial break with an option open for a pass or rebound which is why Freddy has to cheat.
