Unfortunately, he's on his off side. Handedness, man, handedness!

Yeah not just anyone can handle playing on their off wing. Ideally you should be at least 37 yrs old and skate something similar to the pace at which old people **** before your date to play on your off wing. Or at the least, be connor brown.

And who can forget that hyman has played on his off wing forever under Babcock.

So the rule of thumb seems to be that if you have skill you should play on your strong side, if you have none, meh.

On Mr. Doing it Right All the Time, ever wonder why Zach is there for so many breakaway passes? The guy flies the zone like nobody's business.

Outside of Lindholm, is there any other forward you would least like to see doing that?

It's because he needs a head start so he can be first to the boards and commence chopping, flailing and chugging around the puck. He's a man.

Yep, so good at getting to those pucks because he cheats and leaves his mates to fend for themselves in the dzone if things don't go right.

Note the difference in relative ca and xga vs. Tavares

He's pretty much welded to the guy this season. How do you produce that big a difference?

Also note his ugly penalty differential. A lesser player might see a reduction in ice time/role.

Some of that rel ca/xga could be situational, in that Babs loves to put him out to protect the lead late in games.

Underestimating the Habs is a mistake. Aside from decent underlying numbers, they have a history of being a team that looks mediocre on paper but, through inspired play, turn into a pesky, festering, inflamed, burning, pulsating, hyper-infected boil on the edge of your anus.

Most of the time I feel like games vs the sens or the habs are toss ups no matter the lineups that either put on the ice.
