Tampa Bay has been great with their cap. Stamkos only 8.5 --- Hedman only 7.8 --- McDo only 6.75 (next season). They are only one or two moves away from getting Hot Karl while keeping all their good guys.

Those moves require Callahan and one other 5 plus mil player gone wit no cap coming back . Kucherov and the goalie will count for 15+ mil easily .

Per source, teams around the league have been engaged as a third party to help facilitate a potential Erik Karlsson/Tampa Bay trade. Have to make salaries work.
