sometimes a will can cause problems way down the line. For example Pullen Rd bridge over railroad tracks could not be moved east since it would violate the Pullen will. They had to close the road for a year in the 70s to tear it down and rebuild it in the same place. If they used park land the property would go to Pullen's heirs.

Martha Ford is stepping aside from her principal leadership role and turning the keys over to her daughter, Sheila Ford Hamp, who takes over as principal owner and chairman. Martha Ford is 94, so they’re getting younger, but not by much, Sheila Hamp is 69.
 
Baseball starts back last week of July. All issues settled for now.

There is supposed to be an I 40 protest starting at 8:46 today where people drive 10 mph. Don't know how many people will do it. The HP knows about it but not sure what they can do if many people are driving real slow. They cannot pull them all over.

i just saw Kim Deaner doing a traffic report on WTVD and she didn’t mention it. And WRALs traffic cameras On 40 at 540 and the Durham Freeway are dark.

They’re also mandating a 15% cut in the operating budget of all sports and reducing scholarships to save $10 million, or 25% of the athletic subsidy. Nonunion managers will have 1 furlough day per month, equal To about a 5% pay cut and the highest paid managers will have 2 furlough days per month, equal to about a 10% pay cut.
