GDT #15: 11/11/22 - For Borje, Pt.1

Interesting that Kappy has become a regular scratch, much like Johnsson became. Both had excellent first years with their new teams before going downhill.
 
Getting rid of Kap at that very moment was one of the best decisions Dubas ever made. He was a poor possession player that relied totally on his speed and nothing else. His hands just couldn't keep up and his counting stats were always more valuable than the total value he brought to the table. Obviously their return ended up not working out but that was incredible value for a pretty broken player.

Never forget the Leafs media suggesting they trade Nylander so they can fit the younger, cheaper Kapanen though.
 
When I was very, very young my father did some work for Salming so he took me with him. Super excited, he answers the door in his underwear, still sleeping basically...but it was still cool.

Anybody here remember the skate blade incident?

As long as McDavid keeps putting on the pressure, Matty will find ways to keep up. He’s due to explode soon.

Yes.

I went to a game and was sitting in the golds in the front row right at the blue line. Salming was warming up and looked right at me.

I was shocked at the cut.
