GDT #33: 20/12/22 - These Fucking Refs

So this sorta seems like a....big game? at least the first one this year that's felt kinda big.

Bolts are fully healthy and are rolling at the moment....so much so that they'd actually pass us in the standings if they beat us tonight. And they stole a win from us last time with some typical help from the refs and then some shitty goalieing from murray in OT.

Leafs are coming off two dissappointing games after their long win streak - the first one was annoying but acceptable, but the last one was pretty pathetic, and was the first time all year we've lost two in a row in regulation. A good team should nip this losing streak in the bud, and there's no excuse not to get up for the tough fucking Refs I mean Bolts in this one.

Win this one and then the easy one against philly before the christmas break and everything's rosy in leafsland.....lose this one and we'll be hearing all the usual shit again.

Dom's being lazy and hasn't updated GSVA for this week yet.....so these are last week's values for today's lineups:

The fucked up thing is we went like what, 14 games without losing in regulation - an incredible streak by any measure really.

And yet, Boston is somehow still ahead of us and TB can pass us with a win tonight. That is so fucking insane.
 
i feel like we moreso shit the bed against teams like the Coyotes tbh. that's when we don't even try and think we can get away with playing for 10 minutes.
 
i was mostly joking. And just about the titles, not the threads themselves.

this game seems really dull so far...
