So funny that Maccelli has been sitting when he’s easily the teams 5th or 6th best forward. Not that it’s a good thing.

Have to admit, they actually look like they are trying...very noticeable difference in Nylander. Fingers crossed that it holds for a full 60 minutes

it's actually a big deal that Brooby finally split up one of the forward pairings that he's been using since training camp - Roy-Joshua.
Joshua is a decent 4th liner, not a 3rd liner. His salary is stupid but that's a sunk cost now.
Now suddenly we have a 3rd line of McMann-Roy-Robertson who are all at least legit 3rd line offensive talents, which is a first for our 3rd line all year long. And this gets Maccelli back into the lineup who is legit middle 6 quality as well so this doesn't weaken our top lines either.
Joshua on the 4th line is way overpaid but still pretty good in that role. For the first time all year we don't have any 4th line quality guys on the top-3 lines.
It would be really cool if this would stick for a while. It reallly really sucks that the 4th line competition - Laughton Joshua Domi Jarnkrok Lorentz - cost us so much in caphit and assets, but the coach shouldn't let his GM's mistakes hurt the team more than they have to.
But it all starts with admitting that joshua is not a 3rd liner on this team. Accept that and we have a chance to ice our best lineup.
