Mod Squad
Didn't seem like Zeke nor Beleafer had much luck with the GDT the past couple games so I'll give it a shot if it's ok with everyone.
No question biggest game of the season, where the young Leafs face elimination for the first time this playoff, and this will be a GREAT learning lesson, facing adversity, the stress, the hard work, the triumph
I am confident the Leafs don't simply want to learn from this game, but will in fact win this. It is kinda crazy, that the 1st vs 8th team series has been a 1-goal game every single game, and there's nothing to pick between the 2 teams thus far in the first 5 games, which is why I think this series will go 7. That's how close we are to the President trophy winner Washington.
I think we played a great road game in Game 5, and other than a PP that has lost power I really got no problem with the game. They capitalized on their chance in OT and we couldn't, and that was the game. But if we play that game 5 say, 100 times, I think each team will win 50 times.
With the back against the wall (or the cliff, as Trotz has put it) we'll see what these young guys are made of. I am not concerned about the young guys, the only thing I really hope is Freddie plays as good a game as he played in Game 5 (or game 2). We can't afford a single soft goal.
It will be our best game ever. We've got this.
Go Leafs Go!!!!
