The Leafs are dressing Reaves so we'll get to see what WiFi has learned over the summer from his training sessions with Laracque.

Barron is on the verge of being passed by every D prospect in the org while Lekhonen is part of the Avs core

Yeah, you still don't know what it means.

Trading a player who we weren't going to re-sign and wasn't going to be in the future plans for this team for a draft pick & a prospect is always a risk. This isn't a new thing. If Barron doesn't work out, and I don't think he will, that is life. He'll join the large crop of late first round picks throughout NHL history, of which there are far more than there are NHL players.

Getting prospects back in trades is always a risk and what Lehkonen is doing in Colorado is irrelevant to us now.

That was HuGos poor judgement, Lekhonen type player has far far more value than stat watching. He could’ve been signed by looking at other assets to purge, Dvorak, Savard etc.
 
Pretty uninspiring effort for a handful of players trying to make an impression. I guess they are resigned to playing in Laval.
