Hurricane Camille

Those of you who have been a part of this community for a while will undoubtedly remember Hurricane Camille, whose love of a good message board debate was only exceeded by her love of the Hurricanes. Camille left the board a few versions ago, but some of us have remained in touch with her over the years.

For those of you who know her, I thought you would want to know that her husband Mike had a massive heart attack less than a week ago and the prognosis is not good. Family is coming to town for what they expect will be a goodbye.

I'm sure she could use as many positive thoughts as possible, and if you know her, I'm sure she would appreciate hearing from you. She's been very active on Facebook through this whole ordeal and should be reachable there.

Indeed ... thoughts and prayers are in order. Cam seems to be taking it well based solely on her FB posts, but she's got to be miserable.

I think I misinterpreted one of her posts and Mike apparently did not pass away on Monday. Instead, the decision was made on Monday to take him off a ventilator, which will happen today.

If you follow Cam on FB you can see that she's posted a lovely and appropriate obit for Mike. I'm guessing it will run the NandO tomorrow.
