How many games would the Leafs need to lose 10-0 in a row, before Brad finally thought to himself, "Hmm, we have to consider changing coaches in a couple of years if this keeps up".

GM probably doesn't have the mandate for that and his job is on the line if they miss the playoffs.

This is where the corporate structure completely fucks the long term strategic goal of building a strong organization.
 
good thing we have that triumvirate or whatever, eh? would be looking pretty bleak sitting at the bottom of the conference like this otherwise.
