Also, fucking wait for it, Iran will negotiate directly with Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi, Qatar, UAE, & Oman so that they get a cut and support it. Iran isn't going to be greedy here, they're going to use it as a monetary wedge.

They'll reshuffle of course to temporarily save the asset and push another oligarch to eat the costs, but the fact that a company so strategically important to their war effort isn't farming money for free right now says everything.

Her credibility here, fwiw, almost entirely comes from the fact that she was Zelensky's press secretary prior to the start of the war. She was a bit of a wing nut before the appointment (she ran with the Hunter Biden/Burisma story years back despite there being little to nothing there) and her interviewing with Tucker now tells us a lot of where she's at these days.

Tankie eedjits. If Russia leaves there will be elections. It’s pretty simple.

Kinda hard to run a credible elections when a country is fighting an existential war day in day out and civilians are being deliberately targeted.

It's just a Russian intel op talking point to try to create division in Ukraine. There's only two types of people pumping it: Assholes who know, and idiots who don't.

I would be very surprised if Zelensky even ran for re election after this was over. The country's path is set once this is done. They're going to move pretty quickly into being part of the EU and they'll probably be the next Polandesque economic success story.

Hopefully. Reconstruction alone will get the ball rolling.

Zelenskyy has aged 30 years since 2022. I’m almost certain he’ll leave as soon as he can.
