Phaneuf and Lupul

I wasn't sure where or if to post this story that i have heard, but it comes from a friend that i 100% trust would not make it up so i will.

Now it's possible the information is wrong, but the fact is my contact has heard this story from 2 separate unrelated people.

The story is that Dion is injured because he hurt himself attacking Joffrey Lupul, because he found out that Lupul was sleeping with his wife.

The teams is trying to trade Lupul before Dion is ready to play ( which could be now)

This is not an uncommon story in terms of hockey ( Lindros, Brind Amour) or even the Leafs ( Iafrate and Leeman)

Again, not guarantee this is true...but i can assure you that i trust the source it came to me from.

Could be true I suppose, it never seems to get weird enough in Toronto. But lets ask ourselves, if it is true, couldn't Lupul get something a lot better, younger and not attached to the team captain? If its true. Lupul truly sucks.

Lupul could nail pretty much any woman in the city I'd imagine. He's a whore, but he's never come off as a scum bag in either his rumoured escapades or in his interviews. I'd definitely call B.S on this one unless divorce papers happen to show up in the near future.
