I would like to see the first line do more, even if they are eliminated.

If they reach the Cup final, the underdog stuff won't fly, even against Colorado.

If they take the series to six games or more and still lose, to me that would be success. If the series goes five or less and we lose, people will say I told you so, the Habs were a fraud ( even though its totally false).

Tidbit: Out of the Final 4 , 2025-2026 we only lost 1 regular season game to all three remaining , we swept the Cains 3-0 , went 1-1- Vegas (1 in OT) and we spanked the Avs 7 to 3 after they spanked us 7 to 2..
