Ugly loss...again. this past week was a test and we ended up 2-2 with two ugly losses and 2 nice wins. Not really a pass. Some worrisome inconsistancies showing up.

Obviously, we are not a Contender yet.

Some rest and regrouping now.

We've lost six games in regulation and have been shutout in four of them. Bizarre.

It was obvious what team had the most energy. Just one of those dumb schedule things. Habs played 8 games in the last two weeks and the Rangers were lucky to have their Friday game canceled. Now the Habs dont play till Friday, ridiculous.

All the loses were bad, except the Edmonton game, where their goalie stole it. And the Vancouver game was a decent effort.

A few of his famous hip checks that send people flying would have been good tonight to slow those forwards down a bit would have been ok

There aren't any "Contenders" in November for a trophy awarded in June. But I think to be one in April and May we will need to acquire a first line RW again and a d-man who's not close to collecting a pension. Just saying.

And I have doubts that a true contender can use a player as one dimensional as Malhotra as a regular forward. Other than defensive zone faceoffs he's useless. We did get 100 points last season without such a player. Just saying.
