Got Washington. Didn't pick Vegas. 8 for 14 in series. Not so good.

Washington over Vegas in 5 games. But obviously I don't have a clue.
 
It shouldn't take Vegas more than 6 games to win this series. Maybe no more than 5. Not sure how anyone can logically pick the Capitals to win, although they obviously have a chance.

Especially with Holtby giving juicy rebounds on almost every shot.

But still, I would like the Caps to win this. And I think they just might end up wearing Vegas down.

We shall see...
 
I will pick Washington because I rather they won. No logic to my pick other than that.
 
What's interesting is how Stanley Cup teams are built differently.

LA Kings- heavy team that wears you down on the boards.

Chicago - all about mobility and elite talent

Pittsburgh - offensive weaponry of mass destruction

Vegas- roll out 4 lines of high energy

Washington - defensive discipline

Montreal? - elite goaltending and extensive praying at Saint Joseph's Oratory ?

Of course in most cases you need to have fairly reliable goaltending to win.
 
Not too many on here gave the Caps a chance... I picked them to win every series they played..I thought it would be the jets and caps in the finals..
