The (Around the League) Playoffs Thread

Yeah, that's why that loss to Columbus the final game of the season is a piss-off.

It's wide open for any of these teams to go all the way. With Pittsburgh's injuries, there are no juggernaut teams left in the second year of the post-peak Chicago & LA era.

Much better to wait to play Pittsburgh or Washington in the 3rd round too, after they've been nicely tenderized.
 
I agree with Cherry. Sens need to press against a banged up blue line.
 
This style of play is what the Habs should've gone for in the playoffs. Boucher probably would've been the ideal coach for them. They missed the boat and now Julien doesn't seem like the right fit either.
 
If the Senators make it to the finals, they may well beat their previous SC finals TV ratings low water mark. The NYR series was just dreadfully bad viewing. At least the Pens bring some fun to the games.

Their brand of hockey is fitting ... Ottawa: the place that fun forgot.
