needed at least one of Amir or Lowry to step up. or maybe anderson. DD and Gay were the only guys who did anything.

Did you talk with them (especially James)? Anything interesting come up? What were they like?

Yeah they were in the box I was in at the game and then there were only about 20-25 of us in the booth at Real Sports before heading to Thompson. Surprisingly good dudes and interesting evening to say the least! Only one that didn't talk much was Allen but he was occupied with someone.

Really cool.

Bargnani, out since Dec. 10 with a torn right elbow ligament and strained right wrist, has a good chance of returning to the active roster on Wednesday when the Boston Celtics come to Toronto.

“[Tuesday] was probably the hardest practice he’s had since he’s been back, because we’ve had so many day-in-between-[games] practices where there is not a lot of banging, hitting and body on body,” head coach Dwane Casey told the National Post. “[Tuesday] was kind of the first day we had that. He went through that well, made it through it. He got some tough rebounds, which was good to see. We’ll wait and see how his body responds [Wednesday].”

According to the newspaper, Bargnani will likely come off the bench, with Amir Johnson remaining as the starting power forward. Bargnani's name has been in the rumor mill and there's a good chance president and general manager Bryan Colangelo will ramp up the effort to deal the Italian big man by the Feb. 21 deadline.

.

Got two weeks to up his value, don't think it'll be enough time to trade him at the deadline. Only way to ship him is the off-season, in which case I'm rooting for Bargs to pad his stats the rest of the season in spite of trying to win.

I know people want Bargnani traded....but holy shit booing him at home is just going to make people think twice about playing in this market. ****ing idiots.
