Updates and Rumours from around the League

I'd probably replace Weber with Magnus Nygren (22 year old winner of the 2012-13 Borje Salming award as best dman in the SEL)
I suppose Brady Vail could replace "whoever."

But yeah, for an all 25 and under team that's not bad at all, especially if a Bozon or Collberg can live up to potential.

I like having the 6 picks in the top 3 rounds this year

plus im thinking last year's draft was pretty good

Almost beats Kevin Lowe's I have more cups than you.

Just need Feaster to try to sign an RFA that would have to go through waivers and the western canadian teams will go full moron.

Lowes I won cups in the 80's argument was the dumbest quote of the season but Gillis takes a close second.

I love how I think Friedman or some other analyst said that Vancouver needs to be careful because they can quickly turn into a Calgary flames where all of their high priced players decline so quickly and they are stuck with them and they will just wallow for a long time.

The Sedins numbers have dropped thre years in a row and Kesler can't stay healthy. Luongo's contract is untouchable, and Schneider just cut his value in half as well with those performances, and with Luongo there as well.

Too bad Gillis.

That team is locked in.

The goalies are signed long term. They have 5 dmen all making 4+ mill, all signed for 3 or more years. Upfront, Kesler, Booth, Burrows, Higgins are all signed long term.

The Sedins come off the books after next season, but those are the two guys who you'd want to keep long term.

Gillis has done very little with the roster. He's done some tinkering here and there, but nothing major. I expect the same in the offseason. If he thinks Luongo is worth top assets, can you imagine the pricetag he'd place on other guys.
