thanks, i did not know that. sad really, as when he was recalled, he looked decent enough. Oh i guess they cant all make it.

The entire NHL is a Good Ole Boy network. You know that. It's how inept idiots get gigs with other teams because eventually the guys that gave them the chance will need a chance of their own.

I know that but normally they keep their buddy idiots in roles where they can't do little harm, like the famous consultant position for example.

Head coach of your farm team is a way too important position to mess it up with a inept buddy.

Plus, since when have Bergevin and Lefebvre became buddy. They never played or worked together.
 
Seriously I'm completely baffled. You normally put on your farm team either A) An experience AHL coach reputed for grooming prsopects, or B) An young promising head coach that you're grooming to be your next head coach.

Lefebvre is neither at this point (he might have been viewed as promising two seasons ago) so it's completely pointless to keep him there. I'd like someone to ask some questions to Bergevin about this.
