This is the way it's supposed to be. Previously, if our goalie was off, when would we win?
This was a great example of taking it to them, keeping shots low, playing sound hockey, and not relying entirely on your goalie.
Just one game, but excited that they are vindicating me. I don't think other than Irish, there was anyone else with a shred of faith in our players yesterday.

We knew Randy was shit, but this is ridiculous. It reminds me of when Stumpy was freed from Lemaire and got Quinn -- instant and huge transformation. Don't overlook Horachek in this -- looking very good so far.
This team is watchable again. Hopefully it lasts ... we are, to say the least, deserving of some good hockey after 10 years of shit.

It was noted during a stop in play that the BJ's head coach fell into the job when they fired his predecessor. He was named interim coach, just like Horachek was, and now has the BJ's firing on all cylinders.
Could be some hope for Horachek yet.
And even if we don't name Horachek the permanent head coach, if he does well with this team until this summer, he will seriously increase his chances of a head coaching job somewhere in this league.

I like the best of all worlds option - keep Horachek as an assistant if the trend continues and hire Babcock as the head coach.

We have to TRY to get Babcock. It'd be crazy not to even try.
However, Horachek is proving to be at the very least, a good coach. We won't get worse under him, it appears.
And don't forget... we still have a Hunter ace card...
