Eller and de la Rose had really strong games.

Weise should probably be playing on their line with DSP on the fourth.

I get all the hate for Therrien despite his success but this part is crap. There is not a Single Coach in the NHL that ask his players to "sit back". It's just something the player ends up doing by themselves. It's a human reaction to sit back and protect. Saw countless coach interview saying they hate when it happens and you usually see the coach on the bench telling their players to not stop skating. The other team is pushing hard to come back and it's just human nature to fall back and protect.

I don't buy that Therrien gives specific instruction to stop attacking and sit back to protect a 1 goal lead. Any Coach in the league knows that you have much better chances of protecting that 1 goal lead if the puck is at the other end of the ice, Therrien Included.
 
A couple of buddies were at the game with me and they both said that the Habs weren't even trying to score in the third. They sat back and allowed tons of shots.

Therrien is a jerk.

It will only encourage him to do it again, as it "worked," i.e., Tokarski had a horseshoe up his ass.
 
A win is a win. Not pretty but we got the two points in the second half of a back to back. DLR had another good game. Nice to see him get his first shorty.

He was shaky again for sure but he battled through. Against a better team he loses that game. Still, I give him full marks for a much needed win.
