Leafs/Habs/Sens 2014-15

Truth be told, it was pretty hilarious watching the ensuing exchanges between the Habs and Sens posters on here. The problem was that their pissing matches kept spilling into unrelated threads on the Leafs board.

One could argue convincingly that the deceased Quebec Nordiques are still a bigger rival to the Habs than Ottawa, for what it's worth. The Sens and Habs just aren't big rivals despite what Sens fans may believe. A rivalry has to be two-sided.

It's funny because there is zero hockey rivalry there, he's getting it confused with the geographical rivalry...of course, that is completely one-sided too.

Naw, the reason is the Sens fans need big brother's protection against the meanie Habs fans so they hide here behind you guys. They're too pussy to to come to the Habs board and when we go to the Sens board we feel the need to clear out the tumbleweeds.

I'll debate you on the Sens board any day, any time. You guys can't take the shellacking you'd get on the Habs board. All we'd read over here is how mean Habs fans are.

If we face off in round one I'll gladly take you up on your offer, but you need to make it clear that I am a welcome and invited guest when they lose their shit.m
 
If we meet up we'll provide the same courtesy. We'll open up a specific matchup thread and Habs fans that act like pussies will be warned the heated debates are permitted in that thread.

Like here, they dislike the spill-overs.
 
I'll be honest though, I hope Ottawa falls to 8 and plays the Rangers. The way they're playing they will take a toll on the Rags. Even if the Rangers pull out a win the Sens would tenderize them.

To be fair... that would be no fun anyone. Leaf fans at least entertain trolls. The Habs board doesn't even tolerate legitimate posters like Hockeylover.
 
In a specific playoff thread they'd have to or stay out. It's also only 2 or 3 ultra-sensitive Leaf haters that give HL a hard time. She doesn't even troll either.
 
I was flipping through the channels last night to test out which ones worked, and somehow I get TSN5... anyways I watched the Sens/Rangers game hoping the Rangers would smother them didn't happen. I'll say this though... that game was was won because of Hammond, had he not made that huge save in the 2nd that game could have easily been the Rangers last night to take.
 
Rangers sat five regulars that game too. They had nothing to play for. Why risk injury?
 
Surprised Lundqvist played. I guess he's missed a lot of games though. Wanted to keep him in game shape maybe?
