I wish you muppets actually paid attention to the statistics you try to use in arguments, their limitations, etc.

Anything the NHL tracks as a "real time" statistic (hits, giveaways, takeaways, etc) is horrifically flawed because of the building biases. What gets called a hit in Toronto, doesn't get called a hit in New York, what is a giveaway in Calgary isn't a giveaway in Edmonton, etc.

The people doing the stat tracking are typically employees of the team, not the league, and the stats can often be really, really wrong.
