I am happy we didnt blow our load but now its take it where you left off Jeff and produce now , you got paid . Dont give me this Emelin crap , you can find D to make the same mistakes at far less than 4 million.
We have a ton of money on the backend XPO and you know it , something has to get done ....the retooling just begun , more to come.

XPO we havent come close to sniffing a cup in 20+ years , I am sick of this shit , maybe its fine for St.Louis fans who probably dont give a shit , we are the storied Habs FFS.

I'm with you, but Petry is not just a depth move. It's a good signing or at least it looks like it now. No reason not to be happy about it.

I expect 27-ROR-51 with DLR replacing 51 in late game/important defensive situations. Don't think 51 is tradeable except for a worse cap hit player - most likely scenario 51 left unprotected at expansion draft next summer.
Not sure if there's a 51 + PAP for Lupul deal to be had....
