My #1 most anticipated film the rest of the year. ****ing amazing trailer.

I'm pretty much burned out on Superhero movies, yes.

I do like the plot of Suicide Squad" though. Makes it feel a little more fresh in terms of story than the regular superhero films.

I'm burnt out on Marvel movies. Truthfully, I haven't even seen the last few.

I think the Avengers is trash, Iron Man is obnoxious (and really I've never liked the character, even as a kid), Hulk sucks, Captain America they've done in a pretty boring way, Spiderman they've destroyed and look to be continuing down that path, and X-Men is overdone (though the Apocalypse movie is one that I'm actually intrigued by). And Guardians of the Galaxy, which I just saw on tv last week, sucked, and I'm shocked got all this hype and made all that money.

But DC is a different story. So far we've seen just the two main characters in a few films. The Nolan Batman series was overall great, the Man of Steel film not so much. We'll see how this next one with both of them plays out. But I am kinda interested in Suicide Squad.

I've never been a huge fan of any of these super hero movies but i am legit excited for Batman vs Superman. That movie is my childhood fantasy in a movie. The rest i'm relatively meh about.

Just don't watch them.

There are plenty of us who love having 5 or 6 popcorn flicks a year.

Superhero movies have been a consistent movie genre since the late 1980s. Now they have the tech to bring comic books to life. This is what this is...and there is so much material to borrow from and so much lore...I don't really see the superhero movie industry dying any time soon. It will have lulls, but it will be cyclical like every other genre.

**** all you haters. I will be lining up with my 15 bucks for every single ****ing one of them.

Comic book and 80's cartoon flicks are basically the only thing I pay hollywood for these days. If I want masterful story telling, I'll read a book.

Plus they're the type of spectacle that benefits the most from IMAX, THX, 3D whatever. Most other flicks I'd rather watch at home.

Yeah, keep the comic book movies coming. I grew up reading DC comics, and they've barely scratched the surface there.

As for Marvel, the "Avengers" movies are a little silly, and can't really go into the same depth as the stand-alone movies. But they're still enjoyable popcorn flicks.

You can't eat filet mignon all the time, after all. Every once and a while, a bag of chips is nice too.

I think they need to reboot spiderman again.
