OT: Movies/TV Shows

For me it's a lack of charisma. Craig is not the kind of star you latch on to, like Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, even Chris Pratt. He's basically a mash-up stereo type ultra-man.

I think Trainwreck might be the worst movie I have seen in theatres. Ever.

Not funny and not charming.

I might have to watch fear dot com again though.

I liked Trainwreck, but it's basically Schumer's standup set to a movie, and 20 minutes too long ( Apatow fashion)

John Cena was the treat of the film

Man those Craig Bond flicks bore the living shit out of me. No idea why.

The new trailer worries me a bit. The wingless plane going down a ski slope is full on Roger Moore..and that's not a good thing. I know Craig's Bond needs to lighten up a bit, but lets not go too far the other way, please.

I enjoyed Skyfall, perhaps because it was amazing compared to Quantum...but I liked the setting choices, characters and the way they portrayed Silva. It also brought back old elements that the first Craig films lacked and from what I've read they are bringing some more of those back for this film, making it more traditional.

But Craig will always be closer to Connery than Moore. More violent, less charisma, but a product of the time.

I grew up on Brosnan as Bond too. After watching his Bond movies as an adult though...while Goldeneye is still an all-time great Bond film, the rest of his films were a steaming dung heap. Through no fault of his own. Brosnan did a great job with the role, but he was handed some pretty awful scripts to work with.

It's funny that Hugh Jackman turned Bond down because he didn't want to be stuck in a franchise. Playing Wolverine eleventy five times is different I guess. He would have been good though. Too old now.

Yeah, I still love Goldeneye. It's certainly a little silly at times, but overall a really great Bond installment.

And Brosnan was a great Bond.

I like Craig, but none of his Bond films have really done it for me. Though I personally like the trailers for the upcoming one...
