Nah. The sheer amount of shit be would eat from switching back is enough incentive to not do it.ya
at least jonas went all in (though maybe he goes back to half and half if the leafs get good )

2nd teams, hands down. Jonas' timing is a bit suspect but allegedly he jumped to the Hawks before they were good. It would be like someone defecting from the Leafs now and becoming an Oilers fan. All signs point to them being good shortly, they're just not yet.
and that's plenty gay, but having a 2nd team is the worst. I get flipping allegiances, it's not something I'll ever do, but I get it. Having a 2nd team that you actively cheer for? No, just no.

I might have a couple of teams other than the Leafs where I have a passive rooting interest or I might smile when they do well, but that's the extent of that level of involvement.
I would never get pissy on the message board of a third party club because they didn't like my secondary team. That's uber gay.
Arizona, florida (who had empty seats at a playoff game) and I would toss in Carolina for good measure. It's not so that much people around here are badmouthing the Predators as that they are completely and utterly irrelevant that they inspire insipid indifference. In the NHL the only other franchise that really gives them a run for their money as far as being pointless and remarkably forgettable is Columbus.
gay must have a negative connotation for you, that's the 3 time you've used in in an hour.I might have a couple of teams other than the Leafs where I have a passive rooting interest or I might smile when they do well, but that's the extent of that level of involvement.

Why settle down when you can have threesomes all the time because you love women?
If I went to England and cheered for man u and Aston Villa would that be "gay"?We're all from immigrant households in some way or another in Canada. But if, hypothetically, I up and immigrated to the United Kingdom and I was discussing Manchester United football on a Chelsea forum and some of the Blues fans said that they didn't think that Aston Villa was very good, why get pissed off about that? It makes no sense. It's the same thing here.
Open marriage. Google it.We have a word for this. It's called "casual" sex. Just like someone with a 2nd team is a casual fan.

Following the prospects of two clubs, engaging with the fanbases of two clubs on two different forums, trying to follow all the games and highlights of two clubs, the ins and outs of two organizations in other words, doing about double the work of a typical fan married to their one team is a casual fan? You're a casual fan, we get it, it's cool.

Yes.
Cool, I'm a casual fan then, I'll wear it with pride. I'm also gay. Anything g else to add or can we all move on now?
