I wouldn't take Josi before Subban. Josi had the luxury of being paired with Weber. Subban had to carry an old and slow, albeit still effective, Markov, and a wannabe-but-not-there-yet Beaulieu. I think Subban's overall game is better than Josi.

Have you watched him since that playoff series two years ago? He hasn't been very good at all. Not even a top 30 defenceman in the NHL, never mind better than Subban.

I'll take the guy whose been good over the longer period, than a guy who was good for 6 games over 2 years ago.

Not a better player (at least not right now and for the next couple of years at least) and the main non-hockey reason had less to do with personality than with salary.
