St. John's IceCaps: 2016-17 Season

Look on a game by game basis. Many wins are him standing on his head.

When they lose, its usually him being shelled.

Overall its a lot of really outstanding games... and some really bad statistical ones that bring his averages down

Montreal is a top possession team with all the scrubs. St. Johns is not... and is regularly outpossessed and outshot

No , a few of his games were like giving up 5 goals on 16 shots , 6 goals on 30 shots or less etc. He needs more work.

Yes he has the odd bad game which is hurting his average.

Look how many games hes stolen points in though by standing on his head.

Im not saying hes nhl ready... im saying hes talented and his performances for a bad possession team is the biggest reason for a half decent record.

I'm a foodie, I like trying dishes from all over the world. To be honest I didn't like it either.

From all of Persian Stew(Khoresht), Gheymeh is probably the most delicious one that most of Non-Persians like it, or Ghormeh-Sabzi. We have too many delicious Appetizers(Kashke-Bademjoon, Mirza-Ghasemi,etc) and main dishes(Stews, Kababs).

Ironically my wife making Fesenjan and Ghormeh-Sabzi for tonight as we have some guests lol.

They sound like Persian/ Jewish law firms

I wish I didn't have gastritis cause some of your food is tasty .

Miracle on Ice, IceCaps win 2-1 in OT. Audette with the winner.

Brouillette: 2 A

32 saves for Danis.

Hudon, Terry and McCarron were back in the lineup and were on the first line together. IceCaps lost anyway 5-2. Hudon and Terry with the goals. 28 saves for Lindgren.

Terry: 1G, 1A
McCarron: 2A

IceCaps getting back to a full roster, but play worse, go figure. They lose again, 3-1 this time. McCarron with the only goal. 22 saves for Danis.

After a red hot start, Lindgren's save % has dropped to .915.

Since it's worth repeating, I'm not ready to anoint him as NHL ready when he's only been a pro for three months in the minors. He needs to, at the very least, put up a full season of dominant numbers before considerations of graduating.

We gotta deduce that MB is protective of the players he drafts.

He is going to nurture and protect Mccarron because he's an MB pick.

This kid will get another legit shot eventually

FWIW, Chris Nilan is convinced McCarron will be up playing as a regular by game 1 of these upcoming playoffs

Upcoming, in like 3 months you mean. Find Nilan somewhat entertaining, but his spitballing analysis I wouldn't put a lot of stock in. I think we all would like to see McCarron be productive in AHL, earn a call up and make impact in playoffs; but his biggest deficiencies (foot speed being #1) cant all be corrected during this season.
