As much as I think that Trudeai was buoyed by good smile and a head of hair - I do know that the Harper Conservatives had largely reached their best before date.
 
Trump's "go it alone" attitude is no great surprise. We knew this was going to be how he ran the administration.

It's also exactly why we shouldn't have agreed and signed onto the Paris agreement at that time. The whole thing should have been delayed - or at least been constructed without the US a part of it.

Not relevant one way or another. Griffin is an idiot and rightly pilloried. Whether that whole Barron story is or isn't true is just noise.

This is along the same lines as my argument last week about 'decency'.

Just like when the current president spent 8 years trying to convince everybody the last president was a Muslim and not born in the us.
 
Well yea, that's absurd. Clearly.

But my point was that although these Governors are well intentioned - it's not really feasible to go it alone.

He doesn't even seem to want this. No clue why he took the plunge. I guess he divested though, and a trump association probably won't open any doors at this point so maybe he's hooped.

Will they lag behind.... there are tons of jobs in renewable energy and other environmental measures.

Those states aren't exactly states that depend on coal mining to begin with either.
