Full marks to Holm. She lost this fight but it was not the domination that many expected.

Needed to start the fight throwing leg and body kicks. Cyborg is front leg heavy as well, so it could have helped take a bit of her power away (especially from that jab).
Holly busted her up a bit though, which is than we've seen anyone else do. Good showing by Holly, but Cyborg is just too big and strong, with too much technique.

A bunch of the first round exchanges stand out to me. Holly would land first and Cyborg would walk through it and land harder.
It's damn hard to beat that, and leg/body kicks to try to chop the tree down didn't make it into the game plan for whatever reason.
I fear for Miocic's life.

I'm going to go against the consensus and take Stipe, who is a beast in his own right. The concern with Stipe is that he has a bad habit of keeping his head on the centre line and using it as a battering ram to move forward with. But he's not going to get involved in the type of scramble that Reem got deaded in. Or at the least he can't or else that shit will end the same way.
His wrestling is high end and the plan is going to be to take Francis into deep waters and drown him.
DC is going to grind Volcan into a fine powder I think. Though Volcan has a punchers chance but so did Rumble and every other one shot artist who DC has beat up over the years.
Rest of the card I'll watch but don't care much about.

No doubt that Miocic is awesome... and he definitely could win. Ngannou is just soooo dangerous though.

If he had solved an under control Reem and merked him, I'd actually be a bit more impressed. We all knew that Ngannou has stupid power. Landing a wild hook out of a scramble didn't show anything we hadn't seen before. Maybe he's so ****ing impressive physically that he doesn't need to worry about game plans, well rounded skills, etc...maybe he's just that guy who can run over everyone else in the HW division on physicality alone. We don't see them so often (Brock was the last one) and even when we do, someone with technique usually ends up smashing them (Cain....)
If he can't just steam roll Stipe, he's probably going to have a bad time. But yeah, maybe he's that ****ing guy we get once every 10 years or so.

I have no idea. The fight ended a few minutes before Cormier walked out so it worked for me, but I won't be watching Sonnen vs Jackson.
He came as close to winning in the 1st as you can without ending it.
