Leafs' Prospect/Marlies Discussion Thread!

Turned on my radio to a show hosted by gord miller with Steve Simmons. Gord immediately brags that he was mocked after saying the leafs will have cap issues after they signed JT. Now he says he has been proven right.

What ****ing cap issues gord? Their cap situation is almost ****ing flawless you no chinned moron.

Chinless was one of those who guaranteed willy would be traded. Meanwhile they subtracted a bunch of deadweight and kadri (but his salary was replaced by a center and a d). And hey look, they're ****ing fine.

He spoke to high ranking executives though guys. The team will have to be dismantled! The window is over!!!

I think TSN 1050 needs to invest in some better stand-ins for Hayes, McLennan & O'Neill when the three of them are away.

Gord Miller, Dave Feschuk & Steve Simmons is the most hurtbag possible lineup. I turned it off immediately as soon as I heard Miller's voice.

I don't necessarily think very highly of the regular crew either outside of being entertaining and funny. But man this is a serious drop off on all levels.

I read through some of that shit a day or two ago when I was bored, and I honestly don't know how you, Mindz & Burton do it.

The one ****ing moron who thought that we need to trade Nathan Horton and attach William Nylander as a sweetener to do it...I mean, good ****ing god.
 
There's a serious epidemic of sheer stupidity that plagues this sport like no other. I guess that is to be expected in such a fluid, non-static sport where results don't always equal what should happen. People think they're geniuses and assume there's a specific reason for every single result. This isn't basketball folks. It's okay to admit that luck and other factors exist.
 
And expecting meat heads to be able to use a calculator is probably too much to ask too. It's not even difficult like it is in basketball. You literally just add numbers. But the majority of hockey media and fans are really stupid or just not willing to do the work themselves

I'm a dubas dick sucker and he even surpassed my expectations. I legit think they've improved a pretty solid amount. I didn't think that would happen.

The Gardiner loss hurts but remember they never really had a fully healthy d once muzzin was acquired anyway. They're far better, and acquiring muzzin last year was an enormous part of that improvement. They went into the season last year with rielly, Gardiner, Hainsey as their top three d. Well now it's rielly, muzzin, Barrie. Not ****ing bad.

The other part is improving their bottom six forwards and removing the liabilities like brown and Marleau. That will go a long ****ing way. They will move the puck beautifully in transition. It never really made sense to me that they had d that couldn't do that with their skill up front.

They'll be a blast to watch this year. A ****ing blast. Far less choppy, disjointed play I think.
