OT: Movies/TV Shows

the GoT twins seem to be making asses of themselves more and more with every interview, and it's becoming a wonder that they managed to produce a great show for even the 5 years it stayed on script.

the good news? they're out of the Star Wars trilogy.
My problem with all of this is that they allegedly rushed seasons 7&8 because of the new Star wars and Netflix money they were getting. Now they're out on Star Wars? Yea these 2 boobs can fuck right off.

Slow burn.

Understandable with the binge model Netflix has had the last decade. Kind of a shame a lot of these companies will be going back to the weekly released episodes model. I was reading that Netflix will also be doing it. Shame as I like to hammer out a few episodes in one sitting.

Have you watched El Camino yet? They buttoned up the Jesse story.

Yeah, I thought it was a great wrap-up to Jesse's story. Though the fact that the actor who plays Todd piled on at least 50-70 pounds between the end of "Breaking Bad" and the shooting of this movie was a bit of a distracting continuity error.

El Camino was good. Unnecessary after all these years but a decent flick. I just like that BB universe. Better Call Saul is some of the best TV imo.

(secret: I haven't watched breaking bad I didn't like the first couple episodes and I especially don't like Jesse.)

Uh you know how you just commented that people dropped off "Saul" too early?

Yeah,, you dropped off Breakin' Bad way too early. Give it a shot, it's awesome. Saul is in it too as you know, just not right away.

I wonder if the final season of GOT has really killed some of the hype for the prequels?

Honestly - I don't really miss it now that it's done. Also, currently have no desire to rewatch it.

I dont think so. Fans were left wanting more after season 5. Now that they have source material again they can recreate the magic with the Targ history

Knowing how it ends(horribly) kills any desire I might have go rewatch it.

If they had ended on a high note no doubt that this prequel goes forward.

HBO reportedly put in a series order for the Targ story and its going to be called House of the Dragon

Miguel Sapochnik, the director behind the Battle of the Bastards and the Battle for Winterfell will be show co-runner and will direct the pilot

They have an order in for 10 episodes

Any word on that Jim Carrey show "kidding" Second season release date? I thought that was pretty good.
