Hey Nerds: Blockchain

I don't discuss my long accounts here. That shit is boring. If a crash comes I add to my longs and degenerate account as I did back in March and December. Anyway I don't think you quite understand my strategy or trading in general.
I understand, what's so tough? You have a "boring" long account. You have an exciting trading account. You flip stocks in your trading account and are waiting to use the profits to add to your long account on a major buying opportunity.

Hoarding cash generally means you're not holding anything long.

Tune in next week to find out more about your investing strategies and then stay tuned for TOUGH LOVE.

I have a client who met me for dinner on December 30, 2019 with a new Tesla SUV he got that day. Over here, certain large vehicles, you can actually write off the full value of the car in the year you purchased (without even having made more than one payment yet). I always remember that and tell him he fucked up so bad by not buying TSLA instead of that Tesla. And then he entered 2020 without really anything invested in the market, sat through the crash in March firmly on his hands while he and I talked about Uber at $12 and whatnot, and he still hasn't bought a thing.

This guy is a supreme capital raiser with an intricate knowledge of all things concerning companies and markets, and has profited nada from it in the markets.
It's based on vehicle weight believe it or not which is why I bought my car, compact cars don't qualify by weight. More tax loopholes.

Who defined hoarding cash this way? What in the Ef! Your thinking is too black or white. I can hoard a poop ton cash AND be heavy in stocks at the same time. It's called having the most successful trading year of my life. I go heavy when I need to go heavy and scale back when I feel consolidation is coming (which I did a couple weeks ago and rebought at a mucho cheaper price.. not to mention I used most of my cash yesterday on a significant thumb dip. Cash is king).

I personally do not know any trader that does not hold cash as a significant part of their portfolio, especially during a time where the market is extended. That's reckless.

I'm hooked; hope the questions get tougher
I was disappointed with his definition of hoarding. What if I said I hoarded old antiques. Does that mean I automatically don't hoard hockey cards too? Or clothes? Is every other possible thing I could hoard or have a lot of disqualified?

Bring on the tough questions but please make them reasonable folks.

You're arguing something I'm not even talking about.

All I'm pointing out is when someone says they're hoarding cash, to me the implication is that they are either all cash or liquidating to get there.

You're stashing away profits from a trading account and building up a cash pile.

Anyway, semantics. I just need my viewers to be properly informed and not misled by some stock stoner.

Oh so I'm hoarding cash. Makes sense. Glad we got that resolved.

No. You're building up a cash pile from one account.

If you were hoarding cash, you'd sell everything and hoard, you wannabe hoarding whore.

I think hoarding does imply a certain amount of irrationality...

Hoarding is the persistent difficulty discarding or parting with possessions, regardless of their actual value.

You are very willing to part with cash if you see GTII drop 30%, so I don't think you qualify as a hoarder.

A true cash hoarder doesn't have a brokerage account; just a savings account at BMO

And a cash hoarder who has a brokerage account hoards cash for corrections as I've done multiple times and will do again.

haha...hoarder is not the right word tho....hoarders are not opportunistic and nimble; they just hoard

If you want to be accurate, you could say you're hoarding your profits, not your cash.
Now we're really splitting hairs here folks. As for percentage... No one will believe how high it is so I will plead the fifth. You get very upset when I mention anything but ignore the fact that ME retired and moved to Mexico on weed profits. HE HAS THE MORE INTERESTING STORY

What does percentage have to do with amounts?

I could be 90% in cash and have $85.
