FI Dynasty Hockey League Discussion 2021-2022

Not related to this league - but would you do this trade in a dynasty league? Both teams are competitive, the other team needs to shed a little salary. Muzzin was of interest to me, as I owned the shadow of Shea Weber last season.

The goaltending feels like a wash, though maybe the other GM is worried about Kuemper's injury history.

Carrier seems a couple years from making an impact, though Nashville's D is a little more oppen this year.

So I'd probably make the trade, or see if I could squeeze a little more out to take on the salary.

I think it was already assessed that the increase in scoring would be minimal and would not throw everything out of whack, so in that case the better options would either be :

A) From 0.93 to 0.999, award 0.006point(s) for every 0.001SV%

B) From 0.94 to 0.999, award 0.007point(s) for every 0.001SV%

I would just go with A) to make the correction as seamless as possible, which I think is something that would be more in line with the opinions shared by the veterans of this league when the issue was brought up.

It’s a no brainer yes for you BG. Goaltending isn’t a wash IMO.. Kuemper is a good bet to have the better fantasy season just by being in Colorado.

As for the goaltending issue, I thought it had been adjusted already, but I have gone in and done so now (using Option A). We should keep an eye on the scoring when things get rolling just to make sure it didn't fuck anything up. Though we did the math before, and it should be fine.
