OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Cam defends at the NBA level roughly as well as I do. Its a good thing that the Knicks have a coach known for nurturing and developing young players with questionable defensive effort levels or else this could end badly.

I am surprised Atlanta didnt package him in a bigger deal

They have too many bodies for 1 ball

Yeah maybe as an add in. But I figured that Collins would be the centerpiece, and maybe they need 1st rounders and some contract maneuvering to make a Simmons add work.

Maybe not.

Lakers are so underwhelming. Not many even notable players I'd want.

I guess Austin Rivers, Avery Bradley and Malik Monk are good at some parts of the games.

Not sure who else would be even considered.

I don't know how they offer anything interesting enough. Any ideas?

No

They can want GTJ all they want, they have nothing of interest on that roster other than Malik Monk, who Lebron loves. So their interest in GTJ is about putting GTJ next to Malik Monk, not instead of Malik Monk.

With that said, even if they were looking at going from Monk to GTJ, and using Monk to do it...meh. GTJ is better in roughly everything aside from spot up 3 point shooting. Monk is also a pending UFA.

The have Kendrick Nunn back from injury at some point in the not so distant future, but meh there too. 26 yr old backup PG. Him being meh is why Miami went out and gave Kyle his big ass retirement contract.
