GDT #32: 2023/12/27 - The Mighty Sens

4th line got the shift after that TV timeout but at least it came after a PP and I think that was only their 3rd shift of the period.

Still though, Keefe had a chance to limit them to only 2 shifts that period. Would have been nice.

that goal was all him.

Matthew Knies (8)
Assists: Auston Matthews (14)

Say what you will about a skateblade tip, but Stud goes to the net every chance he gets.

Good things happen when you do that.

And on the flip side, not that it was much of an assist for Matty, but his assist totals are shit.

14th assist now in 31 games is so crazy bad for a guy as talented as him in every facet.

L1: 76.3xgf%
L2: 94.8xgf%
L3: 100.0xgf%

don't have the numbers for the 4th line, but given the tteam ended the period at 65% and the 4th line only had 3 shifts, we can guess the math there.

Also, not that you don't already know, but no matter who Matty's linemates have ever been, he generally only gets .4 or .5 assists per game, which is poop for someone who can score 60 and has the skill to set up at least that many every year.

Great start ladies and gents.
I was talking to the people around me about how bertuzzi needs a in the blue paint goal just before the goal so I've been getting kudos from the surrounding crowd.

Then will arnet is here and my daughter and I are obsessed with bojack horseman....watching the whole series again...

Then I bought my kid the Knies jersey because it has the all star patch on it and my first jersey was a 2000 sundin jersey with the all star patch back then....so I had to buy it for her.

Let's keep this going

Knies 68.8% --- Matthews 57.5% --- Marner 68.3%
Bertuzzi 98.1% --- Tavares 98.0% --- Nylander 69.2%
Robertson 100.0% --- Domi 100.0% --- Jarnkrok 100.0%
McMann 05.5% --- Kampf 05.5% --- Gregor 03.4%

Rielly 54.3% --- Brodie 32.6%
McCabe 77.6% --- Liljrgren 80.9%
Benoit 96.3% --- Lagesson 58.1%

Eh? He's been at .6 the last 2 seasons before this year. For a guy who scores at a pace of 65-70 goals, throwing in 45-50 assists per 82 is plenty.
